New custom regulation changes in Azerbaijan – Intermark can help!
Intermark Moving Team would like to inform you that there are some changes in Azerbaijan custom regulations. Starting from February 1st, 2019, it is now compulsory to file a simplified declaration containing shipment details before the shipment arrives Azerbaijan territory. If this new rule isn’t followed, all arriving shipments without a shortened declaration will be subjected to official penalties in the range of 1000 AZN to 1500 AZN. After the arrival of shipment a more detailed final customs declaration is to be submitted.
In this regard, Intermark kindly asks you to provide all shipment supporting documents and details in advance, before the dispatching of the shipment from the origin, to prevent the penalty.
